Does new phone = new user?

Does new phone = new user?

Postby 1776 » Mon Jan 25, 2010 12:09 am

My iPhone was replaced today and it wasn't backed up when it broke. Is there a way I can associate my user number with this new phone or do I need to start over?

this is one of the things i intend to support through associating a forum account with a device, but unfortunately i haven't done that yet, sorry! for now, you'll have to start again.

Do you intend to allow players to cooporate, connecting more than one iPhone to an identity?

no -- one device, one identity. (at a time).

I agree with Kuifje. The only problem is that my new iPhone is allready in the works (iPhone HD) but i'd rather not lose my slices. Is that fixed or not? (sorry if i'm a bit rude)

Oops...
it looks like I made a mistake...
I received my new iPhone 2 days ago.
I've already installed EarthSlicer back on it and linked my device with my account. Now i read that i needed to create a new account and link the new account to my new device and then use the option to transfer my slices.

If I now look in the TopRanking list, I see that i'm both user 239 (rank 11) and 412 (rank 167).
How do I now make sure that i can continue with my old account (which is already linke to my new device)? As you can understand that I won't be that happy when lose my top ranking (worked very had for it ;) )

Regards,
Richard
